Happy Columbus Day Weekend!

Yesterday I enjoyed a "pure day off."  That means I did no HC stuff, and took a mental  break (pretty much) from stuff there.  Which was much needed as there were some stresses this past week.  I went to Sarah's baby shower which was nice.  I can't believe her baby is due in December!  Then I spent some time with Caryn.  We threw some darts and talked and then went to see In Her Shoes.  I really really enjoyed it.  Very relationshippy.  It's probably the kind of film I would have made if I had stayed with film.  Then I went to my mom's and we watched Friends.

Today after Bible study and church, I went to the store with my mom--we picked up some things for lunch.  I went for a walk at my mom's.  I've been walking pretty often.  I really like it.  I think it's M's influence that I have been making more time to walk.  That is a good thing.  Especially now that it's cooler, it's been very enjoyable.  I listen to my tunes on my iPod mini, and sometimes pray, and of course analyze myself and others on a regular basis, as I do laps around my mom's condo complex.

I tried to nap today.  Couldn't really sleep, but it felt good to lie down.  I've been cleaning (and I'm not even having company!!), and doing homework.  Also getting caught up with some finance stuff.  I am glad I can stay up late, since tomorrow  is a holiday.  Though I will be working later in the day tomorrow.  I have a meeting and some other things.

I am incredibly excited to be going to Chicago next weekend.  I am talking at my home church at an event, and will see my dad and hopefully a few friends, though I don't know how much I will really have time for.

I am very content this weekend and am looking forward to next weekend!
